It is time to submit the Fall Awards for the Toastmaster Year 2015/2016

To All District 15 Toastmasters,

Show your appreciation for your fellow Toastmasters by submitting nominations by Tuesday September 27, 2016 for 2015-2016 for one or more of the following:

  1. Club of the Year
  2. Club President of the Year
  3. Area Director of the Year
  4. Division Director of the Year
  5. Rookie of the Year
  6. Toastmaster of the Year

We will accept nominations from any member in good standing. There is no form, just tell us in your own words why you are nominating the club or member. It is helpful if you address the criteria below.

1. Club of the Year

The club has brought themselves up to charter strength and reached all their DCP goals to achieve Presidents Distinguished. The club has contributed to the district by attending conferences and continuing to demonstrate leadership. The club who receives this award can’t be nominated for 3 years. The last 3 winners have been Park City, Jack C High, and Dynamic.

2. Club President of the Year

The President walked the talk, promoted the benefits of Toastmasters, built membership, led the club to Distinguished Status, and provides an example to the rest of the District. The President brought his/her club up to charter strength from where they were or increased their base membership. The President set an example as a team player. She attended conferences when possible and encouraged members to attend. He promoted the benefits of Toastmasters throughout the term of office.

3. Area Director of the Year

The area director leads the area team to Distinguished status, contributing as an individual and by helping others. The leader overcomes challenges. The leader is a team player and makes contributions to the clubs in her area.

4. Division Director of the Year

The division governor leads the division team to Distinguished status, contributing as an individual and by helping others. The leader overcomes challenges. The leader is a team player and makes contributions to the clubs in her division.

5. Rookie of the Year

The rookie has been a member for 1 year or less. Has shown outstanding involvement in achieving club success – willingness to fill club roles, enthusiasm during club meetings, team player, attended Toastmaster Leadership Institute.

6. Toastmaster of the Year

The Toastmaster of the year has made thrilling, enthusiastic, and dedicated contributions to District 15 Toastmasters success. The person interacts with fellow Toastmasters, adds value, mentors, and leads. The person is a team player and demonstrates enthusiasm and dedication.
