Club Officer Make Up Training 8/5/2023

The goal of the District 15 Club officer training event is to inspire attendees to feel energized and equipped to lead their fellow Toastmasters, networking amongst other volunteers, and ultimately to strive to build better clubs! Club officer training benefits the individual, the club, and community. And it’s FREE!
New to Toastmasters Leadership? Attend the sessions to learn from experts. Connect with interesting people who have a shared mission. Experienced in Toastmasters Leadership? Attend to stay in touch.  Contribute to officer workshops. Share your knowledge with others. Learn something new! Not yet a Member of Toastmaster? ​ This Leadership Event is intended for all our members and interested guests.

We had a very good turn out for our original Club Officer Training, but there are still a large number of club officers that have not been trained.

Leading a club doesn’t just happen, but if everyone on the leadership team knows what they are doing, the load for each leader and member can be light.  Having at least 4 members trained twice each year is also one of the easiest Distinguished Club Program point to achieve.  Right now only 25% of the clubs in District 15 have 4 officers trained.  Our goal is for at least 85% of all Club Officers in the District to attend training.  If you are not yet trained, please plan to attend the District 15 Club Officer Make Up training.  See the Zoom link below.

If you are unable to attend this makeup training, please work with your Area Director or Division Director to get additional officers trained.

If you are not a club officer, you are still invited to attend.

To receive officer training credit, participants must attend at least two training workshops and complete the attendance form before leaving each workshop.  For those who are members of two or more clubs, attending at least two workshops can be counted as attendance for your club positions provided an attendance form is completed for each workshop attended before leaving the workshop.  Presenters and helpers will receive officer training credit if at least two workshops are presented or helped with.  This information is provided to you so that you can answer questions regarding credit for training when asked by your members.
