You can achieve your dream, whether you dream of becoming a successful speaker, an effective leader, or an in-demand coach. You can connect with an audience with clarity of content – online or onsite; zoom or room. Whether you need another viewpoint, specific skills, or a gentle nudge, the members of SEA will be there for you. You don’t have to do it alone. You can do it in a safe place. We are each on our journeys, willing to learn, eager to encourage and receive encouragement. We offer faster and deeper learning by

1. Deeper evaluations than a typical club,
2. Round-table discussion and evaluation of every speech,
3. Serving as the “go to” place to practice that non-Toastmaster speech you must nail
4. Having time for longer non-Toastmaster speeches and for level-4/5 Pathway projects,
5. Educational sessions and guest presenters, and
6. Learning from a broad range of Toastmasters.

In Toastmaster speak, SEA is an “advanced club”, you should be a member of another club to join SEA. A round-table discussion of your speech allows you to hear all viewpoints, to ask questions to ensure you understand the feedback, to ask questions about what might have worked well or why something did work well, and to hear differing and conflicting suggestions. We typically plan on 20-30 minutes for each speech, including the time for the speech, formal evaluation, and round-table discussion. SEA typically meets twice a month.

• First Tuesday is online, unless there is a special need for an onsite speech, in which case some members get together.
• Third Saturday is hybrid.
