The District is asked to help with:
Times are changing at a supersonic rate. Millennials communicate differently than older generations, and as a communication education organization, we need to be on the forefront. We are not. This website, for example, is outdated. We need to shine as where people learn not only how to speak but to coordinate efficiently, especially beyond urban centers. People should get the immediate impression that what we do and how we do it will help them beyond Toastmasters. This is why TI has "revitalized" the ed program. That's great. We need to revitalize where the rubber meets the road. Set a strategy and implement today's tools. Use different Divisions for parallel beta testing. Telecons, emails and paper fliers don't cut it, won't cut it, and must be deliberately replaced.
The Division plan to pursue opportunities to develop leadership:
We are using the need to upgrade our coordination methods as lines of focus for leadership. For example, every club has members who are savvy in some way, some tool that could benefit the entire club. Encourage those members to focus their speeches on teaching the rest of the members how to use those tools for the betterment of the entire club. This will engender enthusiasm among especially younger members, while bringing Toastmasters up to date. Passion & progress at the club level is essential for raising up leaders at higher levels.
The Division plan to expand opportunities for Leadership:
Passion & Progress approach.
Map members' personal/professional goals to the TI ed program -- "We'll map the shortest distance between where you are and where you want to go!"

The Division plan to get 75% of club officers trained:
Passion & Progress. They must see the connection or it won't happen.
The Division plan for starting New Clubs:
First, keep existing clubs healthy.
Second, respond where requested. Initial success at the Pocatello Women's Correctional Center -- Strong Women's Legacy club -- has led to a request for Toastmasters to help out at the correctional facility in St. Anthony. This is logistically challenging, so looking at it.
Third, responding to other interest, e.g. in Blackfoot and

The Division plan for achieving education awards:

The TI Ed Program is a track to run on. Working with leadership to make that connection with membership will generate ed awards.
